Ask it what you'd ask us.
Most of what we do on a coaching call comes down to two things. We ask clarifying questions until we have a clear understanding of what's actually going on, and then we tell you what we'd do about it, why, and where to click. The coach does the same thing.
It was built from roughly a thousand of our real coaching calls and the 205 tutorials in the resource library. So when it recommends something, it's recommending what we recommend, the way we'd explain it. It is not a general chatbot with our logo on it.

Two kinds of questions.
Almost every question we get is one of these two, and they need different answers.
We don't want to tell you exactly what to do, because the answer to these questions is almost always "it depends." It depends on how you work, what you've already tried, and what you're realistically going to keep up with.
So the coach lays out the two or three paths we actually use with clients: what each one costs you day to day, who usually picks it, and what tends to happen a month later. It will tell you which one we'd start with and why. Then you're making an informed choice instead of guessing.
Sometimes you already know what you want to do. You just need someone to show you where to click.
When you ask the coach how to do something, it pulls up the same tutorial we'd send you from the library, checks the steps against the vendor's current help page, because Google moves its buttons more often than you'd think, and gives you the steps in order. Each set is sized to one sitting, with a rough time estimate. If we have a video for it, you get the link too.
Here's what that looks like.
Two exchanges from our testing, condensed. The coach's replies run longer in real life.
- Click the gear at top right, then See all settings.
- Open the Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab.
- Click Add a forwarding address, type your main Gmail, click Next.
- Gmail sends a confirmation to your main Gmail. Go click the link.
- Back in Forwarding settings, choose Forward a copy of incoming mail to your main Gmail, and set the original to Archive it, so the old account stays searchable without piling up.
- Click Save Changes.
What's next for the coach.
None of this is live yet. It's what we're building.
Right now the coach lives in a chat. Soon each system you're working on, your inbox, your files, your passwords, gets its own page with the steps, a checkbox for each one, a time estimate, and the video link. You'll open the coach and see where you are, instead of scrolling back through a conversation to find it.
Mac or Windows, solo or team, which tools you landed on, and where you left off. It only remembers what you told it or checked off, never what it guessed. So it can open with Last time you were setting up SaneBox. How did the training go?
A weekly note on the projects you have open. A nudge if one has sat for two weeks. A heads-up when a video you asked for gets made. Each one is its own switch, and every email has an unsubscribe link, so it's as much or as little as you want.
Your membership, your recorded calls, the video library, and the coach, all in one place instead of four.
